Madame Rekha - Early years
Rekha was born in 1954 as Bhanurekha Ganesan later to be known as Rekha . She is the daughter of renowned Tamil actor Gemini Ganeshan actress Pushpavalli.
Rekha 's first film was Saawan Badon, the 13-year-old Rekha became an instant hit . With loads of fat and a bit ugly Rekha without any inhibitions knew that if she had to strike it big in this industry she had to overcome two things , she had to burn her fat and had to perfect the language Hindi . Rekha without any inhibitions did the the same and soon became a SAWN from an ugly duckling.She was an all new Rekha.
